History/Background:

    When she was very young, Lucy’s parents went on an unknown journey and never came back since then. Growing up in solitude, she was always lonely and never got around much with the other children of her age. To cover her life expenses, she had to work as a maid for a sadistic aristocrat, constantly abused. Because of this, she feared humans even more. She chose to neglect reality and created an imaginary friend who was braver, more confident, and most importantly, more aggressive than her. She became her new friend.

Her only friend.

    Time passed, and the imaginary friend developed into a personality. Despite her new found image, everybody just seemed to hate her even more. The sadistic Cynthia grew more and more frustrated. Her master died the final time he abused her.

    Blood stained on her dress, Cynthia walked into her master’s garden, looking up into the raining sky. She didn’t know what to think anymore. She didn’t know who she even was. She raised her hand, her right palm facing the sky.

“Hey, Lucy-chan” the sadistic Cynthia said.

“What is it, Cyn-chan?” replied by the Lucy. The same lips moved

“Let’s go to a place… Far… Far away…”

“…”

“…. Let’s.”

Once the words were said, a swirl of wind blasted out of nowhere… Concentrating on a single area… And taking shape… Was a door.

A door of darkness.

The rose entangled door seemed to greet them…

And the invitation was accepted.
As Cynthia made way for Lucy to return to her original self, she was stopped. … For the Lucy had decided.

“… Cyn-chan… The new us… Will be the sadistic one.”

The Cynthia was pushed back out and though she wanted to resist, the door was closing.

“If Cyn-chan doesn’t go through the door now…”

“… I will erase myself.”

The deal was done. It had to be done. For the Cynthia, it would mean worse than all hell itself if that happened. For all she had was the shy Lucy to protect.

She leapt through the closing gates.

She looked up into the sky.

Cynthia was now a new person. A new person in a new place. A place where there were others like her and she could make friends.

She listens to the fragile ticking of her new life source.

A new place…

After sleeping in the castle for months with nothing to do, Cynthia has now returned to find a new master to serve out of boredom and Lucy just wants to find some tea. The end//shot
